Quilting Double Diamonds

Blue Diamond Daiwabo
A straight stitch was quilted with a long-arm through the center of the Double Diamonds, then more elaborate quilting was added to the rest of the quilt. (Long-Arm Quilter: Dustin Farrell)
Desert Diamond
The Southwest motifs were quilted first, then simple meandering was added all around them throughout the Log Cabin blocks. Special fibers were couched on top of the quilting thread to accentuate the kokopellis and lizards. Fibers were also couched down the center of the Double Diamonds. (Long-Arm Quilter: Dustin Farrell)
Diamond Wine
A straight stitch was quilted with a long-arm through the center of the Double Diamonds then additional quilting was added to the green part of the diamonds. (Long-Arm Quilter: Dustin Farrell)
Veggie Runner
The seams between the Double Diamonds and the fruit & vegetable strips used "stitch in the ditch" quilting. A straight stitch was sewn down the center of the Double Diamonds using invisible thread to secure all the layers of fabric.
